Our transportation company is a dynamic, Finnish logistics expert, whose services include parcelled and pallet goods and part- and whole load deliveries.
We have a long experience of transport. Our company was established in 1946 in Jyväskylä by Osmo Taipale. Current owners are Kaija Taipale (CEO, since 1983), Anneli Taipale (HR) and Riku Vainio (transport and repair shop). We have been part of Finnish transportation system Kaukokiito since 1956 and nowadays we are one of the seven shareholders. The administrative centre is in Jyväskylä and our company`s second terminal is located in Hämeenlinna.
Our company operates in the regions of Central Finland and Tavastia Proper. The main destinations from Jyväskylä and Hämeenlinna are Helsinki, Tampere, Turku, Lahti, Kouvola, Kotka, Hanko, Lappeenranta, Rauma, Pori, Seinäjoki and Vaasa. Through Kaukokiito all destinations in Finland are available for us.
We also have distribution and storage services in both terminals. Terminal in Jyväskylä is 5500 m2 (2400m2 warm terminal, 1000m2 cold terminal and 1200m2 storage area) and there are over 40 loading docks. Our terminal in Hämeenlinna is 1930 m2. There is also bonded store.
Our transport equipment includes 63 trucks and 55 trailers. We have 135 employees; 95 in Jyväskylä and 40 in Hämeenlinna. We have also some subcontractors. Personnel are made up of experts in transport and logistics. We ensure the competence of our staff through diverse training. Our customers consist of paper and food industry (wholesale) and mechanical (technology) industry. Improving customer satisfaction and diversifying services are our main goals. Our quality system is certified by Inspecta ( SFS-EN ISO 9001:2000 and SFS-ISO 14001:2004).
